The past few months have brought many new challenges for people of all walks of life, but also many new learning opportunities for those who look for them. We all know that the environmental crisis we currently face is just that: a crisis, however, something that people are often less familiar with is how our environmental crisis intersects with other societal issues. This guide is designed to provide you with easy links to some of the best web-based resources on intersectional environmental issues to help you learn more about how environmentalism is intrinsically tied to countless other movements. Shake Up The Establishment
SUTE is a youth-led, non-partisan organization promotes that promotes climate justice and political literacy, and provides scientifically-backed resources on environmental and social justice issues. Check out their website for tons of educational resources, and follow their Instagram for easy-to-read infographics. SUTE recently launched an active learning club, to engage members of their online community in active learning through providing curated educational resources on current events.

Intersectional Environmentalist
Intersectional Environmentalist was founded to create a more inclusive perspective of sustainability that recognizes the intersectionality of social justice and environmentalism. IE provides resources and information on how communities such as the Black, Indigenous, Latinx and LGBTQ2S+ communities are tied to the environmental movement. They also curate educational pages on various ways that social justice and environmental issues intersect, such as through agriculture, waste management, and the fashion industry. so you want to talk about…
"So you want to talk about..." is an Instagram account that dissects various social issues and current event topics in the form of graphic slideshows. They cover topics such as the climate crisis, feminism, global politics, mental health, education, public health, and various worldwide movements. Each of their posts has a title slide called “so you want to talk about” followed by a dissection of the topic at hand in an easy-to-digest slideshow format. All of their sources are cited in their posts, and the content is easily shareable, making their infographics a great way to learn and share reliable, traceable information with your own social media followers.

Future Ancestors Services Inc.
Future Ancestors Services is an Indigenous-Black owned, youth-led social enterprise, which supports their clients in addressing systemic issues that disadvantage groups of people and the well-being of the Earth. They provide speaking services and training to corporate, public, and non-profit groups about anti-racism and equity, climate justice, restorative practices and more. Their website also features access to some of their public speaking and training events, and their Instagram contains bilingual resources on climate justice and equity issues in the form of graphic slideshows.
